A court has heard today that a “crucial” report has yet to be filed in the prosecution of former The Voice contestant Jeffrey Anderson.
According to The Belfast Telegraph, Anderson appeared at Newtownards Magistrates' Court today where a judge where a prosecution lawyer told the court that a report had still not been received by the department.
The lawyer continued that the report is crucial to the prosecution decision of the the directing officer.
25-year-old Anderson first featured on our TV screens when he took part in Andrew Lloyd Webber's BBC talent show Jesus Christ Superstar. While he didn’t win the competition, he was chosen as the understudy and toured the UK with the production.
In 2014 he featured again on The Voice but failed to impress the judges.
Anderson is on bail facing a total of 16 offences including stealing photographs in 2011, three counts of possessing an indecent image of a child in 2013, two counts of indecent assault on children on dates between 2005 and 2007, and 10 counts of voyeurism on various dates between August 2005 and August 2013.
Bail conditions include Anderson being prohibited from carrying any device or camera capable of recording still and moving images. He is not allowed to leave the UK or apply for a passport.
