Four people have been charged in the UK in connection with the murder of 16-year-old Becky Watts.

The development comes days after Becky’s step-brother Nathan Matthews appeared in court charged with her murder, with his girlfriend Shauna Hoare is facing charges of perverting the course of justice.

The teenager was reported missing on February 20th and her remains were found at a house in Barton Hill on Monday, 100m from a house that Matthews and Hoare shared.

Karl and Donovan Demetrius (29), Jaydene Parsons (23) and James Ireland (23) from Avonmouth have now been charged with assisting an offender and will appear at Bristol Magistrates Court later today.

Matthews is due to stand trial in the autumn.
