Cora O’Grady died suddenly on April 2nd.

A fundraiser has been launched for the woman who died during a ‘Climb with Charlie’ hike over the weekend.

Cora O’Grady was with her two children when she suddenly passed away on Sunday, April 2nd.

Family friends have set up a fund for her two children, Luke and Lilly. Her son and daughter are only 8 and 11-years-old.

Cora became ill when climbing the Galtee Mountains in Co. Tipperary.

The mum “devoted every hour” to her son and her daughter.

Family friends say they’re heartbroken by the sudden and unexpected loss of their mother.

Cora was only 51 years of age when she died.

A family friend has asked the public to help support Cora’s two children.

She shared on GoFundMe, “On Saturday, April 2nd Cora O Grady and her two children, Luke and Lilly, aged 8 & 11, and her relatives & friends took part in the “Climb for Charlie Charity Event” on the Galtee Mountains.

“Tragically, Cora took ill on the mountain and devastatingly passed away.”

“Cora adored her two children and devoted every waking hour to them. They were her life,” they said.

“Cora will be sadly missed by all who know her.”

“As a community, everyone wants to offer their help, so we have set up this page.”

All funds will be donated to both Luke and Lilly.
