Gardaí launch appeal after teenage girl injured after being hit by van

The incident took place in Walkinstown last Wednesday.

Gardaí are currently appealing for any witnesses to come forward after a teenage girl was injured in a crash during the week.

According to RTÉ, the girl was struck by a van while she was travelling on a scooter on Walkinstown Avenue. The incident occurred at around 6pm on Wednesday 1 December.

The girl sustained serious injuries and was taken to Crumlin Children’s Hospital where she is receiving treatment.

Gardaí are currently appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward. They are also asking for anyone who was travelling in the area at the time and who might have dash cam footage to get in touch with the Gardaí.
