Louise McSharry has revealed that she has been given the all-clear by doctors following a battle with cancer.
The radio presenter took a break from 2FM’s The Louise McSharry Show after being diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma last August and shared her journey through treatment with her Twitter followers.
To mark Daffodil Day, which aims to raise funds for the Irish Cancer Society, McSharry took to Twitter to announce the happy news that she has beaten the cancer and paid tribute to the medical professionals who had helped her through the journey.
So #DaffodilDay seems like the perfect day to tell you that I got the results of my scan, and I don’t have cancer anymore!

Thinking a lot about people still dealing with cancer or have just been diagnosed. I won’t ever stop I don’t think, as I have been so lucky.
