Frontline worker and First Dates star Judy Fitzgerald dies unexpectedly aged 32

Judy Fitzgerald has been remembered fondly by her loved ones.

Tributes have been pouring in following the unexpected date of nurse and First Dates Ireland star Judy Fitzgerald.

The frontline worker died unexpectedly at the age of 32. The beloved nurse passed away on Saturday, May 27th.

Judy worked as a nurse and midwife but was also crowned Miss Bikini Ireland in 2014. She went on to have a successful modeling career and graced the front cover of many magazines.

Judy also pursued a career in fitness and even launched her own fitness app.

Judy is survived by her parents and siblings.

Her death notice reads, “Judy Fitzgerald passed away unexpectedly on 27th May 2023.”

“Sadly missed by her heartbroken parents Liam and Imelda, sister Lucy, brother William, brother-in-law Pedro.”

Judy is also missed by extended members of the Fitzgerald and Martin Families, as well as her friends.

Judy’s funeral mass will take place on Thursday, June 1st in St Nessan’s Church, Raheen. Her mass will be followed by burial in Castlemungret Cemetery.

She has been remembered as a “lovely person” and an “inspiration” following her untimely death.

One person shared, “I have the fondest memories of navigating secondary school with Judy by my side.”

Another added, “She was such a beautiful and kindhearted person.”

One also said, “Judy is going to be missed by so many. She was one of a kind.”
