Kevin Spacey is reportedly “seeking evaluation and treatment” following the assault allegations that were made against him over the weekend.
Anthony Rapp has accused the actor of sexually assaulting him when he was 14-years-old and when Spacey was 26.
The actor told Buzzfeed that Spacey allegedly lay down on top of him in a New York apartment in 1986.
“He picked me up like a groom picks up the bride over the threshold. But I don’t, like, squirm away initially, because I’m like, ‘What’s going on?’ And then he lays down on top of me.”
“As I opened the door to leave, he was leaning on the front door [frame]. And he was like, ‘Are you sure you wanna go?’ I said, ‘Yes, good night,’ and then I did leave.”
A representative for Spacey has said the actor is seeking “treatment” following the allegations.
“Kevin Spacey is taking the time necessary to seek evaluation and treatment.
“No other information is available at this time.”
Others including Mexican actor Roberto Cavazos and filmmaker Tony Montana have also accused the House of Cards actors of harassment and assault.
Montana alleged to Radar that Spacey placed his hand on his crotch and “groped my whole package” in a pub in LA in 2003.
The filmmaker also claims that Spacey then followed him to the bathroom.
“I backed him out the door and I pushed him.
“One of his friends was in line and I said, ‘It’s time to take your boy home.’ They all ended up leaving.’”
