A man in his 40s has been arrested by Gardaí in connection with a death of a 20-year-old man in Kildare last night.
According to RTE News, the tragic incident occurred at around 10.20pm when a number of youths became involved in an altercation with another man at Harbour View.
The man received head injuries and was found unconscious at the scene before being transferred to Naas General Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
A post mortem examination is due to be carried out today and the scene has been preserved for a forensic investigation.
A 42-year-old man has been arrested and is being held at Naas Garda Station.
