Say it ain’t so!
If going on holiday wasn’t exciting enough, we always love the rush of heading to the airport early, going through security and knocking back a pint (or two) before we board the plane.
Sure, it’s 5.30 in the morning, but who cares? You’re in the airport and free from everything in the outside world.
However, that could all soon stop as new legislation is trying to ban drinking in the airport before 10am.
The Home Office in the UK says that flights should not be disrupted by a “small minority of people” and bars should serve at normal opening hours only.
Only last year, Ryanair backed a two-drink limit and a total ban on alcohol at airports before 10am.
This makes us very sad.
