Wednesday will be "rather cloudy with rain and drizzle clearing from the east with drier and clearer weather by evening. Highest temperatures of 7 to 9 degrees with light to moderate northwest breezes."
When it comes to Paddy's Day, the good news really starts to set in, with it being a "mainly dry day with some sunshine and just isolated showers early in the day. Afternoon temperatures of 12 or 13 degrees with light to moderate southwest breezes falling light southeast late."
It only gets better from here as Friday's forecast shows the settled dry spells will continue into the weekend and temperatures will be between 13 and 14 degrees in the afternoon.
"Friday currently looks to bring plenty of dry weather with sunny spells. Cloud will build a little during the day with some drizzle possible in the south. Highs of 9 to 12 degrees. Breezy at times with moderate to fresh southerly winds," Met Eireann said.
