A newborn baby has been found in an apartment building where a missing pregnant woman was last seen.

22-year-old Savanna LaFontaine-Greywind was reported missing in Fargo last weekend.

She was eight-months pregnant and was last seen in an apartment building in the north of the city. She was visiting Brooke Lynn Crews and William Henry Hoehn.

The pair stated that LaFontaine-Greywind left the apartment after helping Crews with a “sewing project.”

Today, Fargo police announced that they had obtained a search warrant for the premises and found a newborn baby at the site.

In a statement on Facebook, they said:

“The infant was alive and was immediately taken to a medical facility. Our investigation thus far indicates the probability that this is Savanna Greywind’s child.”

Both Crews and Hoehn were arrested and have been charged with Felony Conspiracy to Commit Kidnapping.

Police have said that they cannot comment on any other matters within the case as the investigation is ongoing.
