The course will never have seen such a crowd to see two amateurs play...
One Direction's Niall Horan said himself and bandmate Harry Styles are looking forward to a good game of golf in Ireland next year.
The two boys said they will be swinging by to play a few rounds at some of Ireland's most-renowned golf clubs.
Mullingar boy Niall, 18, said he can't wait to perform with 1D in Dublin next March. He said he'll relax in his free time teeing off a few with buddy Harry.
“I can't wait. It's going to be sick, a lot of fun. Irish crowdsare always good and always welcome me home so hopefully nothing will change and it will be another great four nights at the O2,” he said.
“And of course the golf! There'll be lots of golf played, myself and Styles out playing golf!” he added.
Niall spoke on a webcam to a group of girls as part of 1D's mantra in keeping in touch with their fans. He admitted his mum, Maura Gallagher, helped clean his apartment and asked, “Can you tell my mum was here? My clothes and t-shirts and stuff are on the clothes horse,” he said.
Niall strummed a few songs on his guitar during the 40-minute live-stream and said he's thrilled his instrumental skills will be featured in the upcoming tour.
“It'll make the show more interesting. Playing guitar on the stage, rocking it out.”
He shared some tips with fans, telling them if they wanted to learn how to play guitar to visit Ultimate Guitar, an online teaching website.
“If you want to learn how to play a song, it's the best in the world.”
