The Dublin bar, located on Capel Street, is open from 6 pm and people have taken to Twitter to label the decision "irresponsible" and ridiculous".We'll be open again this evening for hardy locals and people who say stuff like "Jaysus, a bit of snow and the whole bloody country closes down!" pic.twitter.com/QWMdQTUZ6k

This is very irresponsible, both for your staff and any customers.

However, Pantibar has said that many of its staff live on the same street and customers are "fully grown adults capable of making decisions, plenty of whom are local regulars who can walk home".your poor staff! Bad form

Some pubs and bars will close, others might stay open but we're taking the advice issued today and staying put at home. Why is everyone always so worried about our staff?? Half of them live on the same block, it's their choice if they want to work - and shockingly some do! As for customers, they're fully grown adults capable of making decisions, plenty of whom are local regulars who can walk home https://t.co/hfpdizdqqY
