The election trail is heating up – and it seems there’s a real push to reel in the young voters.
This morning, Labour ran an election campaign advertisement that got people talking.
Taking on the leaders of the various political partners, there were some heads photopshopped and a ‘witty’ caption depicting One Direction.
Thing is, they made one small mistake.
Any real Directioner would know the group have just four members after Zayn destroyed everything chose to leave.
Revelling in the printing faux-pas, Lucinda Creighton couldn’t help herself, tweeting:
The Labour Party so out of touch they don’t even know there are only four members of One Direction #GE16 pic.twitter.com/tasSU9V7B6

While we can only imagine Lucinda having a little chuckle to herself, Labour had the last laugh with a dig of their own:
Sure @LCreighton it’s obvious you’re Zayn & given your history, you’d be the first to leave! #GE16

Your move, Lucinda.
