As suspects in the Charlie Hebdo massacre are killed by police, an image which appears to be the front page of the paper’s next issue has been circulating online.
Reuters’ Breakingviews European editor, Pierre Briançon, tweeted an image of what he believes to be the front cover of the satirical publication’s next paper.
The cover reads “Urgent: hiring 6 new cartoonists”.

Although the image has received over 1,000 retweets in just a few minutes, it is in fact the work of French television programme Les Guignols, a satirical latex puppet show. It remains to be seen whether this cover will actually be published.

The image was tweeted from the show’s official verified account on Thursday, with the caption “Ouf, l’esprit de Charlie n’est pas mort”, which translates to ‘Phew, the spirit of Charlie’s not dead’.
