A British woman who died suddenly in Thailand has been named as parenting blogger Sophie Emma Rose.

Rose, 41, was killed after the scooter she was travelling on collided with a truck on the Thai island of Phuket.

The blogger was six months pregnant and was mum to eight year-old Shaye.

She died from head injuries sustained in the accident.

She was known for her Youtube channel, ‘Sophie’s Joy’, where she advocated breastfeeding and a vegan lifestyle.

She had moved to Thailand from the UK several years ago, reports the Telegraph.

Her partner Danny Glass was driving the scooter when the crash took place and escaped with minor injuries.

He expressed his grief in a post on his Facebook page.

“I am in total shock as I’ve lost the most precious person I had ever connected with.

“My brain keeps going into denial. I am distraught. She was also pregnant so I lost my child too.

“I do not have access to all of her friends or family members so if you know any of them, please notify them that this has happened.

“I need as much love and support as I can from everyone.”
