Her mum wrote on social media, "A huge thank you to the team at [the Late Late Show and RTÉ], especially Patrick Kielty for this beautiful yet gentle nod in remembering our girl."
She added, "It took our breath away."
Saoirse's mum wrote her own meaningful message to her daughter ahead of this year's Toy Show.
"My wish for you tonight is that you get to watch it on a big screen with all the other little angels in heaven and Slush by your side,' she continued, referencing Saoírse's beloved stuffed toy companion.
"I hope you get lots of hot chocolate, popcorn and sweets galore. I'll be thinking of you my precious, precious girl."
Saoirse Ruane became a national treasure after appearing on the Toy Show in 2020.
She sadly died from cancer at the age of 12 this year.
