So, it’s safe to say that no matter which way you plan to vote in the upcoming marriage referendum, some of the lies and pamphlets spread against the Yes campaign has been shocking.
From the horrendous and frankly disturbing content found in the ADFAM leaflets, to hate mail and homophobic flyers that have haunted this referendum, one Dublin stationary shop are making a stand.
Daintree Paper, (who are under new management following previously different views held by the company), decided to start a new initiative explaining:
‘We want to collect any negative and dishonest flyers, leaflets and online literature, and recycle them into something positive.’
Taking the flyers, Daintree Paper will shred them down into confetti to quite literally disperse the lies.
Confetti will be available to buy for €5, with all sales from the proceeds being donated to the Yes Equality campaign.
