Ukrainian soldier posting TikToks so his daughter can keep up to date with him

A Ukrainian soldier who had fans worried after he stopped posting his regular TikToks for a number of days has reappeared on the platform. The soldier, @alexhook2303, had been posting the short videos on TikTok for his daughter so that she could get regular updates from him - but then he went silent for five days, leading some to become concerned for his wellbeing. However on Monday, he uploaded a new video, reassuring his 3.4 million followers that he was alive and well. The father said in the short video: “I am alive, and will continue to fight for Ukraine.”

Fans were quick to express their relief and joy that the soldier was still alive. “He’s alive!!!!”, one user wrote.
