Walking Dead actor Moses J Moseley dies, aged 31

An investigation into his death is now underway.

Actor Moses J Moseley has died at the age of 31.

Moses was best known for his role in The Walking Dead from 2013-2015 as one of Michonne’s zombies.

He also starred in HBO’s Watchmen and the 2013 film The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.

A family member confirmed the death to TMZ. adding that the star was found in the Hudson Bridge area of Stockbridge, Georgia.

Moses had not been heard from for several days and his whereabouts were unknown.

On Wednesday, after calls to local hospitals provided no more details of his location, the family filed a missing person’s report.

An active investigation is now underway to establish the circumstances of his death.

His manager, Tabatha Minchew, released a statement saying: “He was loved by everyone who met him. Such a bright light in everyone’s eyes.

“Moses was an amazing person and if you had the opportunity to meet him he would have made your day amazing.

“He was very talented, he was a great friend, the kind you could call for anything. He was always excited about life and working in the entertainment business.”

Further tributes poured in for the star on social media.

The Walking Dead’s official Twitter page shared an image of Moses with the caption: “Our thoughts and prayers are with our TWD family member Moses J Moseley.”

The Avery Sisters entertainment agency wrote: “Moses was a phenomenal actor – but much more than that, he was an amazing person.

“For those who knew him, he was the kindest, sweetest, most generous person you will ever meet. We will miss him dearly.”

“This is so sad. My condolences to his family, and to our #TWDFamily. He was such a sweet guy,” one fan wrote.

“Such sad news has hit TWD family. Saddened to hear about the passing of Moses J. Moseley much love to his family and loved ones,” another said,
