Westmeath Family Offer €10,000 Reward After Thieves Steal 100 Livestock From Farm

A family in Westmeath have offered a reward of €10,000 for the safe return of 100 lifestock stolen from their farm during the week.

Niall and Christa Dillon have been left distraught after 75 cows and 25 sheep were stolen from their rented farm at Cornaher, between Kilbeggan and Tyrrellspass during the week.

According to the Westmeath Examiner, the livestock was taken some time between 9pm on Wednesday night and 1.15 pm on Thursday and the Westmeath branch of the Irish Farmer’s Association have now contacted the family to tell them that they will stake €10,000 in exchange for significant information on the theft.
