The UK may have continuously tried to claim Katie Taylor as their own but the US have gone one step further and are attempting to take credit for St Patrick’s Day.
A new video released by the US Embassy in Ireland outlines five reasons that America invented St Patrick’s Day, listing parades, turning things green, marching bands, corned beef and cabbage and holding the keys to the White House as proof that one of the most Irish days of the year actually belongs to them.
