A woman in her 20s has died following a road accident in Co Sligo.
She had been walking on the N15 at Moneygold townland between the small villages of Grange and Cliffony.
The incident occurred shortly before 10.20pm last night and gardaí say it is being treated as a "traffic-related death".
The road has since been closed off by gardaī, who are carrying out an examination of the scene.
Local diversions are in place.
Gardaí are now appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or those who may have information relevant to the situation to contact them at Sligo Garda Station on (071) 915 7000 or any Garda station.
