One woman has bought a house with her winnings from a massive con.
Buying a house is definitely one of the most costly things we can do in our lifetime, with years of paying off a mortgage remaining a looming shadow over many people’s heads.
One Chinese woman has taken matters of buying a house into her own hands by fooling her boyfriends.
According to METRO, a woman by the name of Xiaoli managed to raise more than €15,000 by telling each of her 20 boyfriends that she wanted an iPhone 7.
After getting her presents from all her boyfriends, Xiaoli then went on to sell the phones and collect 115,000 Chinese yuan, which was put forward for a house in the Chinese countryside.
Speaking to the BBC, a woman who works with Xiaoli confirmed the news
“Everyone in the office is talking about this now.
“Who knows what her boyfriends think now this news has become public.”
