On many occasions, we say that we’re fine even we are feeling exactly the opposite but if this new Google Glass app catches on, that could all be a thing of the past.
According to Dazed Magazine, German developers have created Sophisticated High-speed Object Recognition (or SHORE for short), which uses a database of over 10,000 analysed facial features from people experiencing different emotions.
When the app is installed on Glass, it can tell you if the people in front of you are angry, happy, sad or surprised.
While this freaks us out just a little, creators believe that it could help people with autism figure out what someone is feeling and it does not retain any identifying data so users won’t be able to retain personal details.
