Meanwhile, tonight: "Showers becoming mostly confined to west and north overnight. Dry elsewhere with clear spells. Lowest temperatures of 3 to 7 degrees." Tomorrow is looking much the same, with temperatures reaching the mid teens and a few scattered showers. "Sunday will be a cool and bright day with sunny spells and variable cloud. Scattered showers in the west will spread eastwards through the day with some heavy and possibly thundery bursts towards evening. Highs of 13 to 15 degrees in mostly moderate west to southwest breezes, a little fresher in the northwest."Scattered outbreaks of rain in parts of the north east will die out this morning. Otherwise bright with scattered showers in the west and southwest becoming more widespread this afternoon but some good sunny spells too.
