Six million has been spent on the property in a bid to revamp the space and return the 18th-century manor house and grounds to its former glory. 16 new bedrooms have been added while the bridal suite, foyer, drawing and library rooms are all newly designed with a view to making Tulfarris a destination wedding venue. Not only is the property ideal for the wedding ceremony and afterparty, you can also continute the celebrations into "day two". The resort features a beautiful terrace overlooking the 18th green and fairway where barbecues can be held to cater for up to 150 people, weather permitting. Another advantage to the newly refurbished location is the fact that it can cater for different types of weddings so whether you're having a big bash or an initimate affair, there's more than a few options. The Poulaphouca and The Russborough can cater for larger weddings, up to 250 guests, while smaller parties, between 60 and 80 people, can opt for the Lime Tree Restuarant or Manor House Bar. With stunning lake views and the picturesque Wicklow Mountains, you're guaranteed a stunning backdrop for your wedding photos. Civil ceremonies and humanist celebrations are also catered for at the venue located just 40 minutes from Dublin and with this recent refurbishment, it's likely to prove a hit with newly-engaged couples.
