One of eight national parks in Ireland, Wicklow National Park has truly made a name for itself with the stunning Glendalough Upper Lake viewpoint- perfect for a proposal. 

But that’s not all. Spanning over 205km, the park is home to plenty of peaceful, tucked-away spots that offer just the right amount of privacy, because let's be honest, getting down on one knee can be nerve-wracking.

But when is the best time to go? Head down just before sunset, as the sun casts a warm, romantic glow across the mountains.

Another top proposal spot in Ireland is the Slieve League Cliffs in Donegal.

You can either hike up the scenic trails on foot or take a shuttle bus from the bottom. Once you reach the top, you’ll be mesmerised by the pristine blue water and sweeping skies. It’s hard to imagine a more breathtaking backdrop for getting down on one knee.
