And the winners are...
There was some stunning style on the red carpet at this year’s Irish Film and Television Awards (IFTAs) which kicked off in Dublin on Thursday night.
A number of well-known faces were in attendance including Irish personalities Jedward, Vogue Williams, Ronan Keating, Nadia Forde and Rosanna Davison.
Jedward dropped in.
Popular TV3 soap
Red Rock led the way on the awards front, scooping three awards on the night, including Best Soap, People’s Choice and Best Director for Lisa Mulcahy.
Other winners included
Mrs Brown’s Boys for Best Comedy,
50 Ways To Kill Your Mammy for Best Entertainment and Best Documentary Series went to
High Hopes Choir.
Elsewhere,
Inside Bungalow 3 picked up the gong for Best Current Affairs,
Arkle: The Legend Lives On won Best Sport while
Wild Ireland won Best Factual.

Other winners included Sharon Horgan who took home the titles of Best Actress in a Soap or Comedy, and Best Writer in a Soap or Comedy.
Enda Oates of
Fair City won Best Actor in a Soap or Comedy and
Connected scooped the award for Best Reality.
Meanwhile, Brendan O’Carroll received a Lifetime Achievement Award For Comedy off the back of the success of
Mrs Brown’s Boys.
