Kaia Gerber has dropped a collab with Zara and it’s everything

So stunning.

Kaia Gerber has easily got one of the most stunning styles of any model at the moment, so it’s no surprise that Zara has decided to link up with her for their latest collection.

Last week it was announced that the high street brand would be partnering with Kaia, with the collection launching this week.

“My starting point for this collaboration with Zara was to ask if it is possible to do a collection that has everything you would ever need in your closet,” said Gerber in a press release. “If you were travelling and packed an entire collection, could it cover every possible need that you had?”

There are 30 pieces in the collection, with everything you can ever want or imagine – it’s a collection full of leather trench coats, micro mini skirts, cut-out pencil skirts, string tops, and monochrome suits.

Clearly taking inspiration from her mum Cindy Crawford in the 90s, she added: “I wasn’t just thinking about myself when designing. I was thinking about my mom, my friends, and everyone I see around me.”

The collection follows on from other ranges the brand has done with big names like Narciso Rodriguez and Emmanuelle Alt, aiming for collections that surround the idea of capsule closets.

With these collections, Zara is hoping to do what many other brands and designers are doing, making it easier for customers to build a wardrobe full of pieces that can be worn again and again, creating a new look each time.

When it comes to Kaia’s collection, she has gone for a neutral colour palette of mostly black, camel, grey, white, and navy allowing it to be versatile and chic, and easy to wear no matter what other colours you want to incorporate.
