Hang on a second, this is news to us.

It turns out that some of the fragrances in Zara are actually being made by Jo Malone, and they cost a fraction of the price.

Jo Malone’s perfumes are some of the most popular fragrances out there but if you want to get your hands on one, it could set you back up to €200.

While they are pricey, they are stunning and there are so many to choose from, with everything from floral scents to more citrus vibes.

But as it turns out, you can now pick them up for as little as €26 from any Zara store, and there’s a chance you already have one at home.

Since 2019, Jo Malone has been partnered with Zara to produce some iconic fragrances, starting with the Zara Emotions range which includes perfumes, candles, and body products.

Then came the Zara Rain collection which was entirely inspired by the beauty of raindrops.

Last year they collaborated again and released the Vibrant Cities range where different scents are inspired by different cities.

The range includes Fashionably London, Energetically New York, Creatively Shanghai, Stunningly Venice, Magnificently Dubai, Elegantly Tokyo, Gracefully Madrid, and Bodily Seoul.

So now that we can go on with our lives smelling like Jo Malone but for a LOT less money, what’s not to love?

While they might be cheaper, Zara shoppers are in for another charge as the company has announced they are introducing new environmental initiatives.

The retailer has introduced a fee for Irish shoppers that will see a 15c charge for a paper bag and a 25c charge for each envelope they use from now on.

This move comes as the shop aims to encourage its customers to use reusable bags when shopping.

They then added that the money used for these bags would be reinvested in social and environmental work.
