New wedding trend? Pronovias has just created a sheer bridal jumpsuit

It’s becoming increasingly common… among celebrity-types anyway.

Change out of your ‘main’ wedding gown and into something more party-appropriate for dancing and drinks.

Suzanne Jackson did it last year when she said ‘I do’ – as did Serena Williams. Even back in 2011, the Duchess Of Cambridge swapped her sweeping cathedral dress for a silk Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen number that included a diamante belt and a sweetheart neckline.

Lovely.

However, now Pronovias – a Spanish label that is incredible popular with Irish women – has really pushed the boat out when it comes to party-wear for the fashion-forward bride.

Step forward the sheer bridal lace jumpsuit.

Yup, the brand recently dressed 29-year-old Spanish model and TV presenter Cristina Pedroche – proudly posting the piece on its Instagram account.

Seemingly the jumpsuit has more than 200 crystals embroidered into “the delicate lace and Chantilly”. It also took creative director Hervé Moreau and his team more than 244 hours to make. “Thank you for trusting us again for such a special occasion!” Pronovias furthermore wrote in its caption.

Cristina then shared her own snap – and she does look phenomenal in fairness.

We did a scour on the interwebs and it doesn’t seem that Ms Pedroche actually donned the jumpsuit for her own wedding (she’s not married) – but rather for a New Year’s Eve bash.

Still – and as a glance at the resulting comment on Instagram will attest – the item is certainly giving a load of brides (and their mates) ideas.

Pronovias was founded in Barcelona almost 100 years ago and is stocked in numerous bridal shops and boutiques in Ireland.

Although it has some conservative styles, it’s well-known for its more racy numbers too.
