"Our innovative range has been created to help you feel cool, comfortable and confident throughout. Affordable and accessible, our menopause range has been specially designed to address one of the most common symptoms of menopause, hot flushes."
The retailer has said that their menopause range is made from "lightweight, soft-touch fabrics" that incorporate "clever technology to temperature regulate". This is, the brand says, part of their "ongoing commitment to design products that support and empower women through every stage of life".
The products work due to the "complex mix of yarns" which absorb heat from the skin during hot flushes. They also release warmth during the subsequent chill.
Additionally, the material "wicks away excess moisture" and "controls odour". The range also has an anti-bacterial coating, which Penneys claims will leave the wearer feeling "fresh" and "dry" and ready for a good night's sleep.
The collection consists of briefs, bralettes, shaping leggings, a nightdress and pyjama sets, and they are all very reasonably priced. You can browse the collection on Penneys' official website right here.
Penneys is no stranger to using innovative materials to align with women's experiences. Last year, for instance, they introduced a range of period underwear, with prices starting at €7. You can read more about that range here.Experts have confirmed that ‘period hair’ is real
