Pippa Middleton and James Matthews’ wedding has been the centre of media attention recently with the news that there was a ‘no ring, no bring’ policy in place.
Next, talk turned to Pippa’s pre-wedding diet and now, there are rumours that guests are being asked to bring a second outfit to the wedding reception.
Richard Eden, Deputy Diary Editor at The Daily Mail, shared the below tweet, asking if it was a trend to have a second option for a wedding outfit.
Now, given the fact that weddings are costly enough, it’s a bit much to ask someone to have two ensembles on hand, whatever the reason.
Guests at #pippamiddleton‘s wedding have been asked to take second outfit for reception. Is this a trend? Sounds like a bore to me

Whether this is true or not remains to be seen but there’s no doubt that there’s great excitement (and a whole lot of confusion) about Pippa and James’s nuptials.
They’re due to wed next Saturday, May 20th and between Pippa’s dress, which will do well to overtake her previous bridesmaid gown, and reports that Prince George and Princess Charlotte will act as page boy and flower girl, the photos will be fabulous altogether…
