Rihanna has been named this evening as the new Creative Director of Puma Clothing.
The singer has become a style icon due to her daring fashion sense and while some may have expected a designer collaboration, given her close relationship with several top couturiers, it was confirmed today that her next foray into fashion will be with the sportswear brand.
The We Found Love star will oversee a women’s line of clothing for the company, focusing on fitness and training clothes, as well as becoming a “brand ambassador" alongside star athletes like sprinter Usain Bolt and soccer player Mario Balotelli.
Rihanna has previously teamed up with brands including River Island, Mac Cosmetics, Giorgio Armani, Balmain and Gucci and posted excitedly about her new venture on Instagram.
