Rihanna Says Her Tattoos Show Her Religious Side

Always one to defend her own actions, Rihanna has revealed that her collection of tattoos isn’t just about body art but that they have a religious meaning.

The 24 year old singer told The Sun newspaper: “My tattoos are all spiritual and show how I feel about religion.”

Rihanna, who has raked up almost 20 inkings now, recently got an Egyptian Falcon which she dedicated to her late grandmother Clara ‘Dolly’ Braithwaite. She also said it stands for the man above.

This is the singer's most recent tattoo which she posted on Twitter.

“I have a falcon which is an Egyptian falcon and is supposed to stand for God,” the ‘Umbrella’ songstress explained.

While that one’s fair enough, we’re not sure she could find a religious reason for the gun she has on her right side!

Rihanna also has a gun tattooed under her arm on the right side.

Although that one might be more in keeping with her rebellious side which she admits she has: “(I am) rebellious through my music, through my fashion, tattoos, and my hair.”
