Ever since Blake Lively arrived on our TV screens as Serena van der Woodsen, we’ve been slightly obsessed with her style.

The actress has learned a few beauty tricks from her mother although we’re not quite sure what to make of this specific one.
Chatting in a recent interview, the mother of one said: “Oh gosh, my mum is the MacGyver of beauty tips
“If she doesn’t have make-up on her, she’s been known to lick an Advil (pain medication that comes in the form of red coated tablets) and use it as blusher or lip tint”.
Seeing as Advil is pain medication, we might pass on this particular beauty tip…
