Irish beauty influencer and businesswoman Suzanne Jackson has officially stepped down as the CEO of her business SoSu Cosmetics and Dripping Gold.

In a post on Instagram, Suzanne announced that Caroline Dalton is the brand’s newly appointed chief executive.

Captioning a photo of them together, Jackson wrote: “I’m so proud of the two brands success & achievements to date. We have a fantastic loyal customer base & audience, who continues to be the centre & focus of both businesses and I want to take this opportunity to thank you all for your continued support of me & the brands – it never goes unnoticed and I appreciate it so much.”

She continued: “I am humbled to be working alongside Caroline and to be able to hand over the reigns of my companies to another woman in business. Thank you Caroline for coming on this journey with me. I can’t wait for our next steps together.”

Suzanne announced her plans to step away from the CEO role this summer, and announced that a replacement would be coming on soon.

At the time, she said: “I have actually just hired a new CEO for my business.

“That CEO will be starting – all going well – in September and from then on I’m going to try to step back – a little – and let my amazing team take charge and I’m going to try to live a good couple of months here, in Portugal.”

In citing her reasons for taking a backseat in the business, Jackson said that she wants to see the company grow further, but understands that she can’t do so with her skill-set.

She told the publication: “I need my new team to take it to the next level and make it go global.”
