Tracy Clifford announces her return to radio after 2FM exit

Tracy Clifford is returning to the airwaves

Listeners were devastated when the radio DJ confirmed she was leaving 2FM, but we can now look forward to listening to her on RTÉ Gold.

Tracy has been confirmed as the host of a brand new weekday show on RTÉ Gold called Daytime Gold with Tracy.

RTÉ Gold confirmed her new move in a statement on Instagram.

They wrote: "Really exciting news today. We’re delighted to welcome Tracy Clifford to RTÉ Gold for a brand new weekday show."

"Daytime Gold with Tracy brings you 3 hours of the greatest music every weekday from 10 am–1 pm," the RTÉ Gold team announced.

"Starts THIS Thursday, May 28th at 10 am on RTÉ Gold," they concluded.

The reaction to Tracy's news has been incredible, with many fans admitting they've missed listening to her since her final 2FM show took place on April 24th.

Tracey was part of the 2FM team since 2015, and many listeners were shocked to hear her show was coming to an end.
