When it comes to iconic beauty some things come to mind, whether its stand-out features, signature make-up or a memorable style.
Over the past 100 years there have been plenty of iconic beauties in the public eye, some stand out women include Hollywood actresses like Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn, and amazing models such a Cindy Crawford and Elle McPherson.
A poll conducted by cosmetic brand NKDb asked 1,000 Brits aged between 18 and 65 to vote for their number one iconic beauty.
And, to be honest, we were slightly surprised to see that none of the above took the top spot, and instead a much younger woman was chosen.
Cara Delevigne came out on top as the centuries most iconic beauty.
Participants were asked to name their top three beauties along with what they considered to be their 'most striking' features.
24-year-old model Cara famed for her bushy eyebrows, was the top 'style icon'.
Marilyn Monroe came in second place which will come as no surprise considering her glamour and much celebrated Hollywood style.
The list featured a diverse selection of different decades with timeless classics like Elizabeth Taylor as well as pretty singers such as Adele and Gwen Stephanie being included.
Of course, the Kardashian's were always going to feature, as no matter how you feel about them, they have influenced young women everywhere.
"It's great to see a mixture of current celebrities and icons from decades gone by in the top 10, proving that women find make-up inspiration from numerous avenues.'' Marco Robinson, co-founder of NKDb, said.
