Want To Steal Alexa Chung’s Skincare Regime? You Won’t Believe How She Does It

We're not sure we'll be trying this trick...

If you want to steal Alexa Chung’s porcelain skin, it might be about time to stop taking the time to cleanse, tone and moisturise.

Alexa has revealed that despite her stunning skincare, she doesn’t always wash her face at night:

“Sometimes I wash my face at night and sometimes I don’t,” admitting she uses just soap and water when she does make it to the bathroom sink.

The admission marks another celebrity following the ‘Caveman Regimen’ – with Lady Gaga and Salma Hayek both reportedly saying they don’t wash their faces regularly.

The Caveman Regimen instead means that as a consumer you shun all beauty products, helping to naturally balance the skin’s oil production and PH levels.

Skincare experts even suggest the lack of effort may help improve the skin for those suffering adult acne, with less chemical build up on the skin or excessive-exfoliating stripping the skin of its natural oils.

The skincare regime is the latest in the turn to natural beauty maintenance, with the ‘no shampoo’ movement meaning women are leaving their hair unwashed in an effort to let it self-cleanse itself.
