We thought we already had the details on Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds' first child, with widespread reports that the couple had chosen the name Violet for their daughter.
However, the Just Friends actor rubbished the claims last month, saying he had no idea where the rumour had come from.
Now, E! News has said that the six-week-old is actually named James.
Gossip Girl star Lively gave birth to the tot over the Christmas season and Reynolds revealed that he has been surprised by the strength of his feelings for their baby.
"I used to say to [Blake], "I would take a bullet for you. I could never love anything as much as I love you." I would say that to my wife. 'And the second I looked in that baby's eyes, I knew in that exact moment that if we were ever under attack, I would use my wife as a human shield to protect that baby."
It has also been rumoured that the couple have posed nude with the new arrival for an upcoming issue of Allure magazine.
