A huge congratulations is in order for Jenny Slate - she just announced her engagement!
The actress and comedian took to Instagram last night to share photos from her trip to France with her now-fiancé Ben Shattuck. She revealed that while on their recent trip to Europe he popped the question.
She wrote on the social networking site: "He took me to France and made a picnic and made me feel happy and free and then he asked me to marry him and I screamed YES.
"I love you @benshattuck_art, you are the kindest and brightest and I am so grateful and here we go and keep going."
The 37-year-old shared a picture of her engagement ring as the last photo in the Instagram gallery. With a big grin, she held up her ring finger in the picture.
The gorgeous ring appears to be an antique prong-set sapphire with a halo of diamonds and a gold band.
Ben also shared a rather heartwarming post last night.
As well as posting photos from France, he also shared numerous photos from their time together and wrote: "In an abandoned castle in southern France, I asked this woman to marry me.
"Here she is in front of a door the colour of her soul. In LA / MA / Holland / Belgium / France thank you @jennyslate and UP UP UP to more adventures."
