Actress Jodi Albert has paid a moving tribute to her mother who passed away on Monday after an battling cancer for eight years.
The thirty one-year-old released a statement: “My beautiful little mummy passed away peacefully with her adoring family around her at 10.30pm after an 8-year battle with cancer.
“She fought hard and her strength was inspiring right until the end.
“I will miss her forever and will do my best to be the loving selfless amazing mother to my children as she was to me”.
Having played Debbie Dean in Hollyoaks for over five years, Jodi left the soap in 2005 and three years later, she joined Wonderland, a band manged by Louis Walsh.
Jodi is currently expecting her second child with former Westlife star Kian Egan.
The couple, who married in 2009, have a son named Koa (3).
