She told The Mirror: “I’m not afraid (of singing live). In the past Cheryl has been given a bit of stick, but we’re different artists.
“I’m not one of these people who shy away from a challenge. I always sing live, that’s standard for me.”
The singer-turned-talent-show-judge prefers to sing live.
Alesha also addressed the criticism that the show has too many foreign acts now. She said: “I’m so sick, tired and bored of hearing people complaining about foreign acts or whether they have been on another show.
“Who cares? Firstly, everyone deserves a second chance. Secondly, I don’t think it would be fair or kind to discriminate against anyone who wants to enter the show.
“I just think with life, and especially the entertainment industry, one door closes and another opens. It’s the nature of the beast.”Explore more on these topics:
