Alexandra Burke has shared some emotional Instagram posts about her mum’s death.
Melissa Bell passed away in August after suffering from Diabetes mellitus and kidney failure.
She was 53-years-old.
Alexandra has spoken candidly in the past about the effect Melissa’s death has had on her life.
Last night, the singer took to Instagram to share some emotive posts saying that she misses her mum but that she knows they will be “together again.”
She shared the following image.

Burke also shared two photos of herself and her mum.
One showed the pair on holiday with a throwback hashtag and the other depicted a more recent photo of the two with the caption “If I had one wish.”

This comes after the singer revealed that she and partner Josh Ginnelly were engaged to be married.
The pair have been dating since 2016.
Alexandra announced her mum’s death on Twitter saying:
“Mummy has always been my biggest supporter and was over the moon when I told her I was doing Strictly.
“It was always a dream of hers that I would one day be part of the show and I know that she would have wanted me to carry on xx.”
