Amanda Bynes Arrested After Driving Under Influence Of Drugs
Amanda Bynes was arrested in Los Angeles on Sunday, after police determined she was driving under the influence of an illegal stimulant.
According to TMZ, the troubled actress, who has battled with a marijuana addiction in the past, was driving a Mercedes in the San Fernando Valley when she stopped in the middle of an intersection on Van Nuys Blvd.
Bynes was arrested by a police officer where she was taken to the LAPD drug division unit and toxicology tests were performed. Although police could not confirm the exact drug, the incident report noted that Bynes was distressed and had a "disheveled" appearance.
The 28-year old was booked for driving under the influence, and posted $15,000 bail.
Amanda was then booked for DUI. She posted $15,000 bail.
Bynes, who has struggled with her mental health in recent years, is currently on probation for a reckless driving conviction last February.
