Thousands of Jedward fans across the west of the country went to sleep disappointed last night as the twins called off their upcoming concert with just six days’ notice.
The Lucan duo were set to play at the docks in Galway city next Sunday, with an estimated 3,000 fans expected to attend.
Music Events Ireland, the gig's promoters, said the concert has been cancelled due to “unforeseen circumstances”.
Any fans who purchased tickets are due a full refund.
The twins were last seen at the premiere of ‘Keith Lemon: The Film’ in London yesterday.
They have yet to comment or tweet about their decision.
This news comes as Nicki Minaj fans were left devastated after her Dublin concert, set for tonight, was cancelled last minute yesterday due to the star’s vocal damage.
