It’s just another round the battle of the noughties girl band members.
Barely a week after she re-ignited her feud with Nadine Coyle, Cheryl Fernandez Versini has been slammed by a former Sugababe.
Amelle Berrabah replaced founding Sugababe Mutya Beuna in the band in 2005, two years before they recorded a Comic Relief single with Girls Aloud. The bands combined forces for a cover of Walk This Way, which went to number one.
It seems there is no love lost between Cheryl and Amelle though, with the latter taking to Twitter to send a message to Simon Cowell this week.
Responding to a tweet Simon send two weeks ago that read simply “we are”, Amelle finished his sentence with quite the dig: “We are” … Still hiring peeps who can’t sing to judge others singing…”
She added that she loved Mel B, and Nicole (Scherzinger) was great and could sing, but “she gone now”.
“@SimonCowell: We are” … Still hiring peeps who can’t sing to judge others singing… #NicoleWasGreat&CouldSingButSheGoneNow #LoveMellB
