Another Kardashian Wedding? Kris Pressures Kourtney to wed Scott “For The Ratings”

For the past few weeks, speculation has been rife that Kourtney Kardashian and her baby daddy Scott Disick are on their way towards getting hitched. Now, there’s nothing wrong with this, however reports have emerged this morning that it may not be love that’s making them think about walking down the aisle…

Actually, reports today are suggesting that Kourtney’s mammy Kris Jenner is pressuring her eldest daughter to wed Scott simply because it would be ‘good business’ and another Kardashian wedding would boost ratings across the board.

Celebrity gossip website RadarOnline reported that Scott had been spotted shopping for a massive diamond engagement ring last week at a noted jewellers in Fort Lauderdale.

“Scott and his friend looked at a whole section of amazing rings, all diamond, all different cuts, sizes, settings; he certainly is taking his time and wants to make the right purchase,” said a source, speaking to the website.

But US magazine In Touch Weekly, is now reporting that Kris Jenner is the one who is pushing the couple to the altar, in the belief that it will help to garner a bigger audience for the family’s reality TV show Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

“[Kris] runs the family empire and knows it would be good for business so she is pressuring Kourtney to marry Scott,” said a source, speaking to In Touch Weekly.

“Even though Kim made the stupid mistake of marrying Kris Humphries and it didn’t last more than 72 days, Kris thinks viewers want to see Kourtney and Scott get married. The reality show much succeed,” the source added.

That being said, an insider who is close to the family stated (in the same report) that the “last thing” Kourtney needs is a “circus-like wedding and bad marriage like Kim.”

“It’s actually really gross. It’s a negotiation. Love has nothing to do with it. And Scott is such a jerk,” the insider said.
